WildHearts WolfTrek Outdoor Challenge
This event which can only be held once a year, immerses the hikers in the legend of the ‘Wolf of Badenoch’, an evil medieval laird whose eerie ruined castle dominates the stunning route packed buy cialis online with diverse terrain, landscapes and wildlife.
Hikers will trek from sea level to the heart of the Cairngorm Mountains.
The ‘WolfPack’ will set off from historic Dallas Dhu Distillery in Forres, before venturing through spectacular Highland countryside, including ancient pine forest, sparkling lochs and breath-taking mountain passes.
The final stage of the adventure will see trekkers tackling the twisting trail up Cairngorm Mountain to conclude the experience with a roaring reception at its ski station, which features the UK’s highest bar and boasts incredible views over the alpine valley below.
Event organizer Mick Jackson said:” The WolfTrek is a fantastic opportunity to have an adventure and explore the spectacular wilderness Scotland has to offer. It took us months to create the route as it does not exist on any map. As a result it is a secret that only members of the ‘WolfPack’ discover! Moreover the WolfTrek can only take place one weekend a year due to the unique conservational sensitivities of the area. Teams from across the UK travel to the Highlands to take part and we’re so proud to be able to show off this wonderful area we come home.
