Mid Pennine Arts VIBE Club re-launches at Towneley Hall


MID PENNINE Arts has announced the re-launch of the VIBE Club, the popular Saturday arts club for young people aged between 4 and 13 years old.

VIBE is set to run every Saturday from 1pm to 2.30pm until August 28th at Towneley Hall Museum and Art Gallery and it is free to attend, even for accompanying adults!

Each week the VIBE club will be exploring new ideas with a range of exciting activities led by Burnley artist Philip Bradley. Current ideas that Philip is considering for the VIBE club include investigating patterns to develop the monoprints, looking at old photos to explore how vintage cameras work, and also looking at how insects and animals move to help create visual images.

Burnley born Philip has exhibited his work at Mid Pennine Arts, Blackburn College and at Access Space in Sheffield. He is particularly interested in mass participatory art and thinks that the VIBE Club is a great opportunity for young people to come together to develop their interest in the arts and to hone down their talent!
